Runtown’s 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo was spotted on a tow truck in Lagos recently, and folks have refused to let him rest.
Drama started when a fan spotted the super car getting towed in Lagos
and took a picture of it. The photo quickly stirred heated reactions
from trolls, especially those who alleged that the singer bought the car
from his record boss at Eric Manny.
Recall that in April, Runtown had claimed that the 2011 Lamborghini
Gallardo LP550-2 Bicolore Edition was valued at a whopping N150 million.
The car has built-in in gloss anthracite, uses yellow brake
callipers, and boasts of a ‘two-tone two-wheel drive’ feature – all the
fancy details a super-car packs. ‘So, why is such an incredulously expensive car getting towed already?’ — The question on fans lips. Runtown’s Lamborghinni being towed. [Photo: Yabaleftonline]Well, Runtown has come out to debunk those claims.
In new statement to LIB, the Mad Over You singer said the fast car
did not all break down as alleged; it was only getting towed to a
location for a video shoot because, as the statement claimed, it is “too
low” to drive on the Third Mainland Bridge.
“Runtown had his vehicle towed to the mainland to shoot a video
because the car is too low to drive on third mainland bridge. So he
towed vehicle to mainland for video shoot and then towed it back to the
island,” the statement said.
That about sets the records straight.
In April, the Eric Many frontliner acquired the brand new 2017 Lamborghini Gallardo valued at N150 million Naira.
The luxury ride is a unique and extravagant super-car that goes from 0
to 60 mph in just 3 seconds with a V10 engine, ceramic brakes, adaptive
damping system and excellent transmission system.
